Growing up, I was fortunate enough to spend a lot of time around and learning from folks who emphasized the importance of being financially responsible. From an early age I was exposed to real life situations, which gave me a deeper understanding of how to prioritize the financial implications when making key decisions.
Fast forward to college and post graduation, I started noticing how unprepared my friends were in regards to their financial standing. Some of the basics, like handling debt, building credit, and budgeting, were completely foreign concepts to them. Instead of saving money or investing, they were living paycheck to paycheck while overspending on things that weren't necessities and battling the consequences of past decisions.
Through this, I realized that I had an opportunity to help others improve their financial futures by sharing what I know. There are a multitude of easy ways to put more money back in your pocket and build up your savings, if they're utilized. The sooner they are, the sooner the benefits will become noticeable.
Thank you for joining me on this journey as we all collectively work toward a better financial future for us, our families, and those around us.
